Terence Sylvester born on 8 January 1947 in Allerton, Liverpool, England.
He's a singer, musician and songwriter. He started as a founder member of The Escorts. In 1966 joined The Swinging Blue Jeans and in 69 began working with The Hollies that in 2010 would give him a place in the "Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
Terry Sylvester has also a solo career and other music projects.
With the Hollies he would experience several successes like "He Ain't Heavy, He's My Brother" a song that was first released by Kelly Gordon.
Hollies version would be a UK #1 in 1988, almost 20 years after it's original relase in 69.
In the 70's the band would collect other hits, including the 74's worlwide success "The Air That I Breathe".
