Richard Clayderman is the artistic name for Philippe Robert Louis Pagès, French Pianist born in Paris, France on 28 December 1953.
His work is well known all over the world, especially "Ballade pour Adeline" composed by Olivier Toussaint that launched Clayderman's career. It was a major hit in 1977.
