Singer, songwriter Kirsty MacColl was killed on a boat collision in Mexico on December 18, 2000.
She was only 41.
MacColl 1st album is from 1981 and although recieving good critics Polydor droped her in 83.
She would only return to albuns folrmat in 89. In between she recorded some singles and did a lot of collaborations including the 87 christmas song with The Pogues from wich she would become best known internationally.
